KATHMANDU, May 9: Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada will address the Parliament regarding budgetary theories and priorities today at 1:00 PM.
The budget is being prepared by Finance Minister Khatiwada, along with officials of the finance ministry and the National Planning Commission. The Parliament’s budget session commenced on May 6. Finance Minister Khatiwada will present budgetary theory and priorities between May 9 and 11.
The budget ceiling set by the government is around Rs1,500 billion.
Minister Khatiwada had discussed about the budget preparation with former finance ministers on Tuesday.
