Similarly, Nepali Congress parliamentary deputy leader Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar has expressed his doubt over the implementation of the budget presented by the government for upcoming fiscal year on May 29. Stating that the economic policy adopted by the Congress in the past had created a base for economic development in the country, he said the new budget had incorporated no new issue. "Though the issues of achieving eight percent economic growth, development and creating jobs are good aspects of the budget, its implementation is questionable." He went on to say that the concepts of liberalization and privatization were first brought into practice in the country by the NC government which, according to him, remained as the foundations for country's economic growth and development .(rss)
