Substitute Sulav Maskey scored the match winner nine minute from time for MMC which won the second title of the season. Earlier, MMC had won the title of Aaha Gold Cup on February 11 in Pokhara.[break]
Maskey, the second half replacement, headed home the winner utilizing a cross from left flank.
MMC bagged a purse of Rs 300,000 along with winners´ trophy while Sahara received Rs 150,000.

MMC coach Hari Om Shrestha said that the victory was possible due to the confidence of the whole team. "The players were confident of winning the match," Shrestha said.
MMC skipper Shiva Shrestha was adjudged man-of-the-match while Bishan Gauchan of Sahara got man-of the-series award. Likwise, Amar Dangol of RCT got the highest scorer award.
Dangol had scored four goals against Lalbandi FC. Gauchan was awarded with cash prize of Rs 25,000 while Dangol received Rs 15,000 along with trophies and certificates.
Altogether 12 teams, including five A division clubs, had competed in the event.
