BARA, Jan 31: Preparation for the eight edition of the Ruslan Simara Gold Cup that will kick off from February 20 at Simara Stadium, Bara, has been complete. Organizing a press meet in Simara on Monday, Nawa Jana Jagriti Youth Club informed that the preparation of the tournament that will feature 10 domestic teams is now complete. The ten participating teams include five each from Kathmandu Valley and out of the valley. 



Two departmental teams-Tribhuvan Army Club and Armed Police Force-alongside CMG Sankata, Himalayan Sherpa Club and Saraswati Club from Kathmandu will be competing in the tournament, informed organizer Nawa Jana Jagriti's representative Shambhu Thakuri.



Similarly, host Nawa Jana Jagriti, defending champion Bijay Youth Club, Birgunj United Club, Sahara Club and Rupandehi-XI are the remaining clubs to take part in the tournament.

The winner of the tournament will win a purse of Rs 500,000 while the runner-up will bag Rs 251,000 according to the Nawa Jana Jagriti's President Kashim Miyan. He also informed that the best player of the tournament will be given a motorcycle while the best coach alongside best players in each position - goalkeeping, defense, midfield, forward-will be rewarded with Rs 15,000 each.  



Likewise, man-of-the-match will be awarded with cash prize of Rs 5,000 according to Miyan.
