BARA, May 2: At least 40 people were injured when a bus carrying students met with an accident at Churiyamai of Bara in the wee hours today.
The bus (Me 1 Kha 2429) en route to Pokhara from Jhapa was hit by a truck (Na 5 Kha 3582), the Makwanpur District Police Office confirmed. The students and teachers in the bus were heading to attend an event to be held in Pokhara under the Nelta Jhapa Access
Programme. Among the injured, one is undergoing treatment in Kathmandu, six are receiving treatment in Bharatpur and 33 have been admitted to the Hetauda Hospital, police said. RSS
