LALITPUR, June 29: Several passengers have been injured in a bus accident at Bhardeu of Kojyo Som Rural Municipality of the district on Friday. The ill-fated bus (Ba 4 Kha 5364) heading to its destination from Lagankhel met with an accident at road section of Lele-Chandanpur due to the power-steering fail.

Metropolitan Police Circle at Chapagaun informed that the bus fell down around 60 meters from the road. He informed that a team has reached already at the site for the rescue. Total 35 passengers were traveling in the bus among which 16 have been transferred to Ananda Ban hospital.  

Gopi Lal Singtan, chairperson of the rural municipality informed that there might be a casualty also as the accident was major.
