KANCHANPUR, Sept 23: At least 10 people sustained injuries in a road accident that occurred at Shuklaphant  Municipality-7 in Kanchanpur district on Saturday.

It has been learned that the ill-fated bus (NA 5 KHA 2648) bound for Mahendranagar from Dhangadi skidded off the road said Police Sub-inspector Lal Mani Joshi of Ilaka Police Office, Jhalari.

The injured have been identified as Gauri Bohara (26), Tularam Joshi (42), Lila Thapa (35), Suman Thapa (2), Durga Joshi (36), Jayaraj Bhatta  (35) , Jaya Bahadur Kafle (55), Khadka Raj Joshi (62), Dal Bahadur Bista (55) and Dansingh Dhami (37). Of all the injured, Durga Joshi has severe injuries. 

The injured are receiving treatment in the nearby clinic at Jhalari.
