Jitmaya Limbu, 51, of Itahari-2 died after being hit by the motorbike (Ko 11 pa 1030) while she was walking on the road.
She died on the spot. [break]
Another pedestrian, the 12-year-old Sabin Thapa Magar was also injured in the mishap. He has been referred to Silgudhi, India, for treatmet.
The motorcyclist, Rajan Shreshta, 35, who also sustained injuries in the incident, is receiving treatment in Dharan.
