POKHARA, Jan 7: As many as 403 people underwent blood tests for detection of diabetes and thyroid at a free blood test camp here on Saturday. The blood test camp was jointly organised by United Reference Laboratory (URL) Pvt Ltd and Newa Misa Pucha, a local organisation.
On the occasion, Dr Subas Bhattarai highlighted the importance of such screening health camps, saying they helped in diagnosing the health problems on time so that the people can get timely treatment.
URL managing director Thakur Prasad Panta said they have been organising such health camps in collaboration with various organisations as part of their social responsibility.(RSS)
