KATHMANDU, July 24: As announced earlier in May, India has decided to wind up “unauthorized” camp office in Biratnagar with effect from August 1. This comes after years-long refusal of Indian Embassy in Kathmandu to comply with repeated diplomatic correspondence from Nepali authorities to shut down the office.

The new route runs along the bank of Nilgiri River and takes almost three days to reach the base camp. KATHMANDU, Nov 20: Youth Advocacy Nepal (YAN) in partnership with ActionAid Nepal organized a five-day long ‘Youth Democracy Camp’ at Kotdanda in Lalitpur. The camp, which concluded on Saturday, was aimed at educating youths about theories and practices of democracy as well as their roles in promoting and strengthening democratic practice in the country, said Naren Khatiwada, president of YAN.
