Maoist MPs disrupt House meeting

By No Author
KATHMANDU, May 5: The Maoists lawmakers stalled the Legislative-Parliament soon after their parliamentary party deputy leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha spoke Tuesday afternoon, according to our correspondent Yuvraj Acharya.

Shrestha accused the president of staging a "constitutional coup", before leading his party lawmakers to picket speaker´s  rostrum. The House meet had begun at 3 p.m.

The Maoist MPs surrounded the rostrum of the House shouting slogans against the president. Speaker Subas Chandra Nembang, who was supposed to read the president´s letter about the prime minister´s resignation, adjourned the House without entering into formal agenda.
