BIRGUNJ, April 25: The Bara District Administration Office imposed curfew from Parwanipur to Amlekhgunj along the Pathalaiya-Birgunj section of the East-West Highway from 9 p.m. on Saturday to 1 a.m. on Sunday. The curfew will stay in areas 100 meters on both sides of the highway. Chief District Officer Kailashnath Kharel said the curfew was imposed to facilitate movement of vehicles and supply of essentials, which have been affected due to the indefinite strike of the Joint Tharuhat Struggle Committee since Wednesday.
