Addressing a program in Kathmandu, he claimed that the constitution drafting and peace process will be completed through consensus even if the parties fail to form a consensus government. [break]
He argued that since all political parties have a common mission of accomplishing the constitution writing and the peace process, pointing finger at each other made no sense.
"We are traveling on the same boat, and if it goes down, we´ll all go down together," said Dahal. "I know it very well that being the largest party, we have the most to lose in case the peace process is not completed and the new constitution is not promulgated."
He urged all the people from different walks of life to not just blame political parties and leaders alone for the current state of the country.
He was of the view that leaders are not from Mars rather they emerge from within the society.
"The leadership of the political party reflects the society. We came from among you," he said.
