NEPALGUNJ, Jan 16: The police arrested two people with 34 kilograms of hasish in Kohalpur of Banke district Friday.
According to Superintendent of Police Mingmar Lama, the two – 40-year old Purna Bahadur and Shiv Lal Budhathoki, 51, both of Kohalpur-8 – were arrested from home.
SP Lama said that the police got a tip off that the hasish was to be taken to from Salyan to India via Dang and Nepalgunj. The huge haul was found in the house of Buthathokis.

The cost of the seized contraband drug is Rs 3.5 million in India, said Lama.
Purna Bahadur had previously been arrested twice in the past with hasish. he had been released on bail.
