It is very regretful that the amount allocated for the formation of peace committee in every village was frozen, said Coordinator of Reunion and Reconciliation Forum, Rana Bahadur Chand, informing that the conflict victims will come up with urban-centered agitation in an unison manner.
‘We are preparing for the agitation soon’, he further said, adding that the conflict victims across the district will come together to stage demonstration before district headquarters and hand over a memorandum on the first day.
The conflict survivors have put forward a demand to ensure male and female representation from the conflict victims in the peace committees at district and local level.
