KHOTANG, Dec 4: A Nepali migrant, who had been stranded in Qatar for the past four months, has been rescued, and sent back home.
The repatriation took place with the help of Khotang Sewa Samaj, Qatar.
Manrakhi Rai of Kepilasagadhi rural municipality-3 in the district had been deprived of her four month's pay from her employer, and as a result she had to find it difficult to sustain herself there.
She also filed a complaint against her employer with the Labour Court for depriving her of her pay. Following this, her employer fled making the situation even worse.
Rai had gone to the Gulf country 27 months ago by paying money she had borrowed at a fixed interest rate, which she said is yet to be paid. RSS
