KALIKOT, Nov 29: The death toll in a road accident involving a Bolero jeep at Khandachakra Municipality-1 in the district this morning has reached four. Jeep driver Indra Prasad Tharu of Banke succumbed to injuries amidst treatment at the Kalikot District Hospital.
Three died on the spot. They are Jayarup Bumi, 45, of Bhiee-7 in Mugu, and Nara Bikram Malla, 46, of Srinagar-3 and Yaduraj Neupane of Kartikswami of Chandanath-14, Jumla, the District Police Office Kalikot said.
A total of nine people including a new mother were onboard the jeep (Lu 2 Cha 2003) that was heading towards Surkhet from Mugu, when the accident occurred. Remaining five people who were hurt in the accident were taken to the Kohalpur Medical College.
Police are trying to find out the case of the accident. RSS
