The conditions include commitment from major political parties for drafting a federal democratic constitution, formation of a national consensus government, guarantee of an autonomous Madhesh state and conclusion of the peace process.

UDMF has demanded integration and rehabilitation of cantoned Maoist combatants as per the provisions made in Interim Constitution and the Comprehensive Peace Accord.

The alliance stated that it wants to see detachment of the Maoist combatants from their arms and categorization of the combatants based on those opting for rehabilitation and those opting for integration. It also maintained that the Maoist combatants should be brought practically under full command and control of the Special Committee.

Speaking at the press meet, MPRF-D Chairman Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar said not more than 5,000 Maoist combatants should be integrated. Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato demanded that Madhesis should be allowed bulk entry in the Nepal Army.
