KATHMANDU, Oct 24: Three Nepali migrant workers were injured in in a vehicular collision that took place in Penang of Malaysia, near Juru Toll Plaza, on Tuesday.
Issuing a statement today, Kuala Lumpur-based Nepali Embassy said, “The injured are Nepali women migrant workers. However, their names and addresses are yet to be ascertained.”
As many as eight people, seven Indonesians and a Malaysian died in the bus accident.
No Nepali people were killed in the accident, said Datuk Huan Cheng Guan, honorary Nepal Consul-General to Penang State of Malaysia.
