3,013 patients of Covid-19 recovered in Nepal so far

KATHMANDU, June 28: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) reported recovery of 179 patients of Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking Covid-19 recovery tally to 3,013 on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, June 28: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has reported recovery of 179 patients of the Covid-19 in last 24 hours, taking Covid-19 recovery tally to 3,013 on Sunday.

According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, the spokesperson for MoHP, 179 patients of Covid-19 including 13 females and 166 males were discharged from various hospitals and isolation centers after recovery.


46 patients of Covid-19 from Birta Police Academy, Rautahat, 11 from Covid-19 Hospital, Sapahi, 28 from Narayani Hospital, Parsa, three from Jaleshwor Hospital, Mohattari and 16 from Sai Kisna Isolation Center were discharged after recovery.


Similarly, 39 Covid-19 patients from Corona Special Hospital, Dang, six from Siraha Hospital, 13 from Mahendra General Hospital, Siraha and 17 from Kaliya Hospital, Bara were discharged after recovery.


As of Sunday afternoon, 61,731 people are staying at various quarantine facilities and 9,731 patients of Covid-19 are undergoing treatment in various treatment centers across the nation.


The MoHP has also confirmed 463 new cases of Covid-19 in past 24 hours through 4,962 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests and 2,732 Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDT) conducted at various 22 laboratories.
