Two more COVID-19 patients discharged today, 33 recover so far

BIRATNAGAR, May 10: Two more COVID-19 patients were discharged from the Biratnagar-based Koshi Hospital on Sunday. With this, 33 patients so far have recovered from this disease in the country.

BIRATNAGAR, May 10: Two more COVID-19 patients were discharged from the Biratnagar-based Koshi Hospital on Sunday. With this, 33 patients so far have recovered from this disease in the country. 


A 27-year-old man from Bhojpur district and another 63-year-old man of Jhapa were discharged after they tested negative for this deadly disease in two consecutive lab tests, according to Dr Dipak Sigdel. They were admitted to the hospital after they contracted the virus on April 22 and 24 respectively.

“They will be kept under home quarantine with the help of the local representatives,” Dr Sigdel added. 


Meanwhile, a COVID-19 patient from Udayapur, who was diagnosed earlier on Saturday evening,  was admitted to the hospital on Sunday.


With this, a total of 16 patients have been discharged from this Biratnagar-based hospital while 19 others are undergoing treatment. Province 1 has reported 35 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease.
