19 more COVID-19 patients recovered today, taking recovered tally to 206

KATHMANDU, May 29: Nineteen more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from hospital on Friday.

KATHMANDU, May 29: Nineteen more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from hospital on Friday.


Dr Bikash Devkota, spokesperson for Ministry of Health and Population, informed the media during a briefing that two patients from the Teku-based National Public Health Laboratory, seven from Patan Hospital, eight from COVID Special Hospital, Dang, and two from the Unified COVID-19 Hospital, Balambu, have been discharged after recovery.

With this, the total number of the patients who have recovered from the coronavirus pandemic in Nepal has reached 206. Among them 162 are males and 44 are females.


To date, 30 individuals from Province 1, 102 from Province 2, 20 from Bagmati Province, two from Gandaki Province, 47 from Province 5 and five from Far Western province have been discharged after recovery.


Today, the health ministry has confirmed 170 new cases of COVID-19, taking the national tally to 1,212 including six deaths.
