As many as 365 children of Kalimati Kalche VDC in the district, which is the highest number of the children, have been deprived from the education, this year.[break]
Binod Adhikari of the DEO told to RSS that the children are deprived from the education due to various problems including children have to walk far distance to go school, poverty and others.
According to the survey carried out by the DEO, it is expected that the population of the district is 254,000. Among them, 70,000 children go to school.
Parents said that they are not able to send their children to school due to poverty and compelled to send them for work.
Children have been deprived from the education at a time when there are 15 schools including primary to secondary at one VDC.
