District Education Officer Devi Prasad Subedi said mostly children having the category 'A' and category 'B' physical disabilities do not have access to school education.

Similarly, the children from the economically vulnerable communities also are out of school as their parents do not get them enrolled in school and instead take them to work with them, it is stated.

The other factors hampering school enrollment are lack of disabled friendly facilities, separate toilets for girls and non-availability of textbooks on time. RSS
