“Fifty megawatt of electricity can be produced in the three rivers by building embankments,” said hydropower expert Dr. Krishna Prasad Dulal. Chamdi, Panaha and Nistekhola can be the second biggest reservoir power plant after Kulekhani, he said.

According to Dr. Dulal, their finding is based on a two-day on-site study in Ratedanga, the meeting point of Chamdi, Panaha and Nistekhola and in Dovhan, another confluence.
