Other parties plotting against statute: Maoist leader

CHITWAN, April 7: Spokesperson of the UCPN (Maoist) Dinanath Sharma has claimed that other political parties are hatching conspiracies not to draft the constitution on time.



He also blamed other political parties for attempting to extend the Constituent Assembly (CA) tenure by weakening the government on different pretexts.[break]



Talking to RSS on Thursday Sharma said that other political parties are conspiring to blame the Maoist party if constitution was not promulgated on time by providing the leadership of the sub-committee formed to finalize the remaining differences in constitution writing to the Maoist leader.



Sharma said other political parties were demanding the leadership of UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal so as to blame the Maoist party if constitution was not drafted on time adding that the Maoist party will not be discoursed by such tendencies.



He claimed struggle for development, changes and political achievements was needed though this is the time for institutionalizing the achievements of the People´s Movement-II.
