Chinese envoy meets PM

KATHMANDU, March 31: Outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Qui Guohong met Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal at the Prime Minister´s Office in Singha Durbar on Thursday.



On the occasion, discussion was held on establishment of lasting peace and constitution drafting, said Prime Minister´s Foreign Affairs Advisor Milan Tuladhar.[break]



Prime Minister Khanal thanked the Chinese envoy for China´s support to Nepal during his tenure.



Guhong is leaving Nepal on April 8 completing his tenure. He had arrived here on Nov. 8 in 2008.



Though he was appointed for three years, he is leaving Nepal without completing his full term.
