By No Author
ILAM, March 26: Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subas Nembang on Saturday said that there has been no significant progress in constitution writing for the last two months.

"No concrete progress has happened in the last two months in constitution-writing," Nembang told at a function at Ilam Municipality Saturday. "I haven´t seen any remarkable progress in the process since January 22," he said, adding, "We expressed various commitments but failed to work as per the commitments."[break]

Nembang said that dispute among the parties over which issue among forming State Restructuring Commission, completing the peace process and promulgating constitution should be given priority has delayed constitution writing.

Nembang also said that ball goes to parties´ court to sort out differences aroused among parties. "CA cannot resolve disputes. Political parties have to solve the problems."

Nembang at the function distributed 100 radio sets to people above the age of 60. Ilam Municipality has begun distributing radio sets to enhance media reach for backward communities.
