RAUTAHAT, April 10: Two hundred and sixty two police personnel working under the District Police Office, Sarlahi, have been promoted. The District Police Office, Sarlahi, has already given rank insignia to all the promoted police personnel.


As many as 18 Sub-Inspectors of Police (SI) working in different units under the District Police Office have been promoted to Senior Sub-Inspectors of Police and 65 head constables have been promoted to senior head constables. Similarly, 179 police constables have been promoted to assistant head constables.

According to the spokesperson of the District Police Office, Malangwa, Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhav Prasad Budhathoki, all the promoted police personnel have been deployed in the area since Friday.


Similarly, Sarlahi Police Chief Praveen Pokharel conferred the insignia on all those promoted from SI to Senior Sub-Inspector of police. A large number of police personnel have been promoted at the same time after the promotion provision with new posts was implemented in the Nepal Police.
