KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal Saturday said the special session of Legislature-Parliament beginning from Dec. 19 will create differences among parties instead of creating political consensus.

Talking briefly to media persons after participating at a function to mark 98th birth anniversary of Dr. Dilli Raman Regmi, he said, the call of the Unified CPN-Maoist and some fringe parties for the special session of the Legislature-Parliament was done in haste, even though the government was holding talks to call regular session.[break]

Prime Minister Nepal reiterated that there is no alternative to create consensus among parties to end the present political impasse and form a new government. He added that the present political deadlock cannot have positive result just by calling the Parliamentary session in haste.

He said today’s meeting among three major political parties will have wide discussion to end the present political hurdles.
