24 domesticated animals killed, 35 houses damaged as flood hit village

TIKAPUR, August 4: At least two dozens of domesticated animals were killed in Ward-10 of Ghodaghodi  Municipality in Kailali as the flood faced by the Kandra river flowed through the human settlement area earlier today.

TIKAPUR, August 4: At least two dozens of domesticated animals were killed in Ward-10 of Ghodaghodi  Municipality in Kailali as the flood faced by the Kandra river flowed through the human settlement area earlier today.


The human settlement area faced flood at 1 am today.

According to Bhim Bahadur Bam, the chairperson of Ward-10 of Ghodaghodi Municipality, such villages as Pahalwanpur, Ganeshpur, Shitalpur, Ghumnibhakal and Faram were adversely affected by the flood. 


As many as 600 houses were damaged. All the valuable things from edible things to ornaments contained in those houses   were swept away.


The victims have nothing to eat. They have been relocated to East-West Highly for safety.
