Border to be closed for Indian poll

BANKE, Oct 20: India has decided to close Jamunaha border point for two days starting from Wednesday midnight keeping in view of state assembly election.



According to Indian Seema Surakshya Bal (SSB), Nepal-India border will be closed for 24 hours to avoid any untoward incident during the election in Bihar. The election is being held in six rounds.[break]



The first round will elect 47 members for Bihar´s state assembly.
