NC chief secy resigns

KATHMANDU, Sept 28: The chief secretary of the Nepali Congress, Jeevan Prem Shrestha, resigned his post Tuesday, citing the changed context in the aftermath of the general convention.



Shrestha, who is close to party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba and was defeated in the election of the CWC, resigned a day after the general convention elected a new CWC with Sushil Koirala as party president.
