Girls' football begins

KATHMANDU, July 24: Kailash Bodhi Secondary School defeated Bidya Aarjan Secondary in sudden death in the inaugural match of the the Coca-Cola Cup Inter-school Girls´ National Football Tournament at the ANFA Technical Center Chyasal on Saturday.



Kailash won the match 6-5 in sudden death after the regular time ended in a 1-1 draw and the tiebreaker failed to decide the winner. [break]



Likewise, Simara Public School beat Rupak Memorial School 2-0 in the second match of the day as Sapana Ghale and Sapana Basnet scored for the winning side.
