19 injured in accident

JHAPA, June 2: Nineteen people were injured in an accident that took place at Kaptanbari of the Birtamod-Shanishchare road section at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.



The accident took place when a passenger jeep (Me 1 Ja 422) heading for Shanishchare from Birtamod was hit by a cargo truck (Me 1 Kha 678) coming from the opposite direction.



The District Traffic Police Office said the condition of two injured is serious while the others are out of danger.
