CHITWAN, July 14: Nineteen people were injured after a passenger bus skidded off the road at Dasdhunga along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section early this morning.
The bus (Bagmati Province 01-006 Kha 5237) met with an accident at 5:20 today at Dasdhunga of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 on its way to Kathmandu, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bijay Raj Pandit said. As many as 40 passengers were traveling on the bus on its way to Kathmandu from Kakarbhitta, Jhapa.

The bus fell 10 meteres off the road after losing control, police added.
Likewise, 18 injured persons are receiving treatment in different hospitals in Chitwan district while an individual has been referred to Kathmandu for treatment, according to police.
