According to Chief District Officer Dev Raj Dhakal, two dead have been identified as Tek Bahadur Magar and Lal Jeet Magar. Seven passengers were injured in the incident.
The jeep was en route to Daunne Nagar from the district headquarters, Khalanga.
A rescue team has been already sent, according to Dhakal.
