173 COVID-19 patients recovered in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU, July 20: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) reported recovery of 173 COVID-19 patients in the past 24 hours taking the country's COVID-19 recovery tally to 11,868.

KATHMANDU, July 20: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) reported recovery of 173 COVID-19 patients in the past 24 hours taking the country's COVID-19 recovery tally to 11,868.

Dr Jageshwar Gautam, the spokesperson for the MoHP, said that 173 patients of COVID-19 were discharged from various hospitals across the country on Monday.


As of today, 752 COVID-19 patients in Province 1, 2,697 in Province 2, 451 in Bagmati Province, 1,004 in Gandaki Province, 3,771 in Province 5, 1,522 in Karnali Province and 1,671 in Sudurpaschim Province have recovered and returned home.


Likewise, the ministry also confirmed 186 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.


Meanwhile, Bhojpur, Panchtar, Dhankuta, Sankuwasaba, Rasuwa, Manang and Mustang district have reported being COVID-19 free.
