The post for treasurer went to Saraswati KC. Meanwhile, Bhojananda Rai, Karma Bahadur Singh, Bijayanta Sharma, Ram Krishna Ghimire and Raju Maharjan were elected members of the association.
Election were held for all the posts except secretary and class-less reservation. Prakash Baral was unanimously appointed secretary.
Three contenders Kumar Basnet, Harihar Lamichhane and Basudev Niroula withdrew at the last minute paving way for Baral´s victory. In the class-less reservation, Sanukrishna Maharjan was nominated unanimously. Saraswati Koirala and Yanjudevi Dahal were elected from the women´s reservation seats.
Altogether 108 members were nominated for the general assembly from the centre and various dictricts.
NSC Vice-president Pitambar Timilsina handed over the certificates to the elected members at the Vision 2020 Hall of NSC, Tripureshwar.
Outgoing General Secretary Prakash Rai and Treasurer Saraswati KC had earlier presented a report and financial statement on Thursday.
