17 parties to form national mechanism for struggle

KATHMANDU, Jan. 29: Seventeen political parties and organizations, which have been waging struggle for bringing constitution through the Constituent Assembly and addressing people needs and issues of nationality, have decided to form a national mechanism to intensify their struggle.



The meeting of the parties on Tuesday concluded that the national unity and sovereignty were at stake, so a national mechanism was essential to topple the government.



The CPN (Mashal) said they decided to make their struggle effective against price hike, corruption, impunity and for the institutionalization of the achievements of the Janaandolan-II.



The meeting was attended by the representatives of the CPN-ML, Rastriya Janmorcha, Janamorcha Nepal, CPN (United Marxist), CPN (Marxist), CPN (Unified Revolutionary), United Janamorcha, Nepali Janata Dal and others.
