CPN-UML leader Ishwar Pokharel said Gautam left the convention venue for Kathmandu Saturday afternoon after feeling unwell.
Gautam, who had visited Bangkok for treatment early this month, was rushed to the hospital direct from the Tribhuvan International Airport.
