Abducted Maoist freed

MAHOTTARI, April 7: Kaushal Jha, a member of the Unified CPN (Maoist) Mithila State Sub-Committee has been freed by his captors.



A resident of Damhimadai-7, Mahottari, Jha was kidnapped from his home on Tuesday afternoon by Surya Bidrohi and four others of the Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (Jwala Singh).



Bidhrohi also happens to be a neighbor of Jha.



He was free later at night.



The kidnappers released him from the Tilgadh village of Padaul VDC, UCPN (Maoist) Mahottari In-charge Mahadev Yadav said.
