KATHMANDU, Nov 14: Nepal Army has rescued 16 people who were stranded on the way to the Ganesh Himal Base Camp via Nepal Army chopper on Thursday.

Three members of the team were rescued by helicopter and brought to Kathmandu for treatment. Despite the efforts of the District Administration Office, the rescue operation could not succeed due to the adverse weather.
Bishnu Prasad Acharya, head of the divisional forest office in Dhading, Anusiya Dhungana, his technical assistant, who were heading to Ganesh Himal base camp for tourism promotion, experienced respiratory issues. Following this the team of 16 people were stranded on the way before reaching the base camp.They were rescued after 27 hours today at 1:30 PM.
