Abducted campus chief freed

NEPALGUNJ, March 29: Kidnappers released Rajitram Pathak, the chief of Mahendra Multiple Campus, on Sunday night.



Pathak was released at Babagunj, India, after the family paid a ransom of Rs 1.5 million. The kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs 5 million immediately after kidnapping him on Thursday.



On Sunday afternoon, a son and brother of local paralegal went to India as instructed by the abductors to submit the ransom.



Meanwhile, police said they were still investigating the case. Police have not even found any clue about the abductors involved in Pathak´s abduction three years ago.
