Bhandari off to China

KATHMANDU, March 22: Defense Minister Bidya Devi Bhandari left for China on Monday night for an eight-day official visit.



Along with Defense Secretary Nabin Ghimire, Nepal Army Major General Nepal Bhushan Chand and Brigadier General Pawan Bahadur Pandey and Bhandari´s press advisor Subash Devkota have accompanied Bhandari in the five-member delegation.



With a transit in Jiangsu province, she will reach Beijing on Tuesday. She will be visiting Shanghai and other provinces during her visit and will hold talks with high-level officials from the government and the Chinese Communist Party, Devkota informed.
