The money raised from the tickets and the members was handed over to Bishwas Nepal, a non-governmental organization that works against women and girls-trafficking, and abuse.
"We organized this event with the objectives of ending violence against women, promoting volunteering, and raising funds to support needy organizations," says Arabinda Subedi, organizer of the V-day Nepal.
Seema Gurung, the other organizer adds, "The strong and positive response received for this event has motivated us to continue these kinds of events and we plan to organize it in a greater scale again next year."
Rammaya Lamichhane, Advocate and Program Coordinator of Bishwas Nepal is grateful to V-day Nepal for their support.
"We are going to use the funds for funding dropping center which will provide counseling services for free to abused and trafficked girls," Lamichhane says.
