15 of Pichada Barga Mahasangh arrested

LAHAN, June 17: Fifteen workers of the Pichhada Barga Mahasangh that has been enforcing an indefinite strike in the Tarai since Tuesday were arrested on Wednesday morning in Kathauni of Saptari district. Among the arrested is the Mahasangh’s central member Umdeshwar Sah. They were arrested while vandalizing vehicles on the highway to enforce the strike. They clashed with police when the latter tried to arrest them.
