KATHMANDU, Aug 4: The government has set up coronavirus test booths at 14 different places in Kathmandu to collect swab samples of the people entering the Valley amid the rising number of confirmed cases.
A meeting of the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Sunday decided to place COVID-19 testing booths at Patan Hospital, Civil Hospital, TU Teaching Hospital, Teku Hospital, Birendra Military Hospital, Star Hospital, Nepal Police Hospital, Bhaktapur Hospital, KMC Hospital, Bir Hospital, APF Hospital, Nepal Korea Friendly Hospital, HAMS Hospital and Maternity Hospital.
Issuing a press statement earlier today, the ministry said that the people coming from the places with high risk of COVID-19 and those who had been in touch with suspected patients can visit these centers and get their swab samples extracted.
