KATHMANDU, Oct 18: Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Kul Prasad KC has said that the police force of Lumbini Province will be ready soon as the Province Police Act has already been passed by the province assembly.
He said that now organizational development will be advanced as per the legal provision.
Addressing an event organized on Monday at the Province Police Training Center in Butwal on the 67th Nepal Police Day, the Chief Minister also asked the police personnel to work dutifully to maintain law and order, curb crime and carry out thorough investigations.
Likewise, Minister for Internal Affairs, Law and Communications, Tilak Ram Sharma urged the police to make the citizens feel safe and support them, adding that the provincial government was committed to implementing the newly-unveiled Police Act.
On the occasion, chief of Lumbini Province Police Nala Prasad Adhikari directed the police personnel to work selflessly as ordered by the organization.
