Health examination of goats to be carried out in the Valley from today

KATHMANDU, Sept 27: The Department of Livestock Services is going to conduct a health examination of goats in the Kathmandu Valley from today. The department is going to conduct the health examination of goats at 10 different places in the Valley from today.

The department said that the health of goats supplied for Dashain is being examined as there is a possibility that the sick goats may be imported for consumption.

From today to Nawami, a team of 50 veterinarians will go to different places to test goats. Veterinarians will visit Kalanki, Chandragiri, Tukucha, Tokha, Chalnakhel, Sallaghari, Balkhu, Lokanthali and other places to examine the health of goats.
